Welcome to New Horizons!  A ministry for the 50+ crowd at Mount Calvary Church. As we get closer to being empty nesters and retirement, we are entering a new season with new experiences on the horizon. 

Join us the third Wednesday of every month (Sept - May) for a time of encouragement, food, and fellowship starting at 10:30AM  at the Ministry Center (45 Veterans Drive Elizabethtown) 

Doors open at 10:00AM for fellowship.


Lunch will be served ($5 recommended payment)

Upcoming Dates

New Horizons typically meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month September - April.
Unless otherwise noted, lunch is provided.  $5 recommended payment. 
Here are some of our upcoming programs. 

February Outing

In February, the group will be heading to Dienner's Country Restaurant in Soudersburg, PA for lunch. We will meet at the Ministry Center and drive together in vans or car pool. Or you can meet at the restaurant.


Meet at the Ministry Center at 11 or at the restaurant at 11:45. 

Cost $23 includes meal, drinks, and tip

Join us on March 18, 2026 when we will hear from Lisa Sanchez, a Senior Naturalist from the Lancaster County Parks Department's Environmental Education Center as she shares with us about native birds.

Join us on April 15, 2026 when we are joined by members of the Elizabethtown Historical Society. They will be sharing about the history of Elizabethtown.

Hymn Sing

New Horizons invites the church to join us for a hymn sing. Bruce Neyer will lead us in worship as we take a meaningful step back into the rich tradition of classic hymns. In addition to singing, we’ll spend time in prayer and share words of encouragement together.
