We want to make serving in Kids Ministry simple. This is your resource page for anything related to serving in MCC Kids!

CHECK out the resources below:

  • We’re excited to share our Volunteer Handbook with you! This is your go-to resource for everything you need to serve well in Kids Ministry—policies, procedures, tips for connecting with kids, and helpful reminders for Sunday mornings and events.

Take a few minutes to read through it, and keep it handy as a reference. It’s designed to make serving easier, more fun, and more impactful for the kids and families you serve. Thank you for being part of this team!

  • We know that prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can impact the lives of the kids we serve. To make it easier, we have a resource called “14 Ways to Pray for the Kids You Serve.” It’s full of simple, practical ways to lift our kids up in prayer—whether it’s for their faith, friendships, confidence, or hearts to grow closer to God. Thank you for your faithfulness and for being a spiritual influence in these kids’ lives!

  • Mount Calvary Church requires the following 3 clearances for all volunteers who serve with children:

    • Child Abuse Clearance
    • PA Criminal Record Check
    • FBI Fingerprinting

Clearances must be completed every 5 years. Click the link for directions to complete or update these clearances.

  • Check out this Developmental Stages chart. It talks about what to expect at different ages and how you can best work with them in each season.

  • Teaching in Fusion or Fusion+? This takes you to our Gospel Project curriculum as you prepare your lesson. If you have trouble with accessing  the site, please contact Shannon.

  • Learn more about serving in an MCC Kids classroom. Here you can read about the specific details of serving in each volunteer area.
